(5) How Will Florida's Children First be Able to Help? |
| Florida’s Children First will help by being a united voice for these helpless children at all levels of government. Florida’s Children First will attempt to work closely with the Department of Children and Family Services to identify any problems and come up with solutions. FCF will also educate lawmakers and the governor to the problems in hopes it will lead to reform. The public, lawmakers included, often doesn’t get information as to what’s really happening in foster care because of privacy rules. FCF seeks to lift the veil of secrecy because the more information that is made public, the more that can be done to benefit the children. FCF will also train lawyers to help fight for these young people in court. |
