Alan S. Levine is a civil and criminal attorney with 20 years of experience in prosecuting and defending the legal rights of clients. Mr. Levine has extensive trial litigation experience handling nursing home abuse, wrongful death, personal injury, and criminal matters. Much of his legal work with ARLS is focused on obtaining court ordered drug and alcohol intervention, assessment and stabilization under the Florida Marchman Act for anyone with a substance abuse problem. Mr. Levine has represented thousands of individuals and families in regard to drug addiction and mental health related issues. He has handled thousands of additional cases representing individuals facing commitment underthe Florida Baker Act. Mr. Levine also is regularly court-appointed for legal representation in adult protective services hearings and incapacity proceedings. He also handles criminal matters for adults and juveniles, personal injury, wrongful death,and nursing home negligence and abuse litigation.
